My All Time Favorite Cat ~ REDD

Someone commented they didn't know I painted animals. I had to chuckle at that one a bit... True, I've probably done more animals in pencil than watercolor.. This guy was my all time favorite. Redd found me and I had him until he was an old boy.  He's been gone almost 10 years.. but stayed in my heart... There's another painting of him on my side bar on Art Hearts Place .. BJ

    Redd is so beautiful, BJ. He looks like my Seamus (Seamus means "red" in Gaelic) too! My guy is 6 now...7 in April or early May. I think some of us humans just suffer so much loss in life...it is so hard to handle. My problem is figuring out how to stay sane through it all. Hugs to you, my friend.
