The Nest

If this looks familiar I've done something like it before but it was sold about 3 years ago. It went to a good home in Australia.
It was a favorite of mine so I've done another one, of course no two would ever look the same, and this one stays with me..
I was asked to hang about 10 paintings at the office of a large developement here in Plant City. Not quite sure how I feel about it ..  but I'll get them back in a month or so.. . I suppose it's good for the exposure,, and next month will be the Library exhibit.  This one is graphite/pencil and colored pencil. 11"x14"
 thanks for looking ,,, BJ

  4. Ah BJ...I can see why you loved this piece and did another. There is just something so beautiful and pure about robins' eggs and birds' nests. I think this is really beautiful. Congratulations on such a wonderful request. It feels so good to be appreciated and admired, doesn't it? I was looking at one of your thumbnails and girl, you look way younger than I do. You have some amazing genes!

  7. Oh this one is very special Barbra. Your work is just beautiful. Now hop too on your calendar. Just teasing. I feel a burn out coming for me. May have to read a good novel under a tree in the shade with lemonade. LOL
