Inside the Nature Journal
I'm sure I've posted some journal pages before, but it's my blog so I'll do it again.. .. Yes, the Alaska Journal is finished so you don't have to see that one again.
This is something I really enjoy. I don't follow any rules from beginning to end it's all hand made, (not the paper) then hand bound with waxed thread. You can see the binding in the first photo of the cover.
I like a vintage look to my journals. So I purposely distress my pages, age them with inks and sandpaper. Here are a few that I have on a shelf.
Also posting the very first one I did.. It is mostly small watercolors. NFS. Then started a second and adding papers, charms, paper beads. etc. Yes I make paper beads, go figure ! And it took on a life of it's own..
They are all full of 'stuff'. Some have closures, all are signed by me.
I do sell them and prices range from $75 -$125.
You may email me at firstname.lastname@example.org .
I struggled along with this until I learned to put the pages ( called signatures) together, and the binding. I didn't want my journals to look store bought, so I know they're one of a kind.
Signed on the back . Thanks for looking. Barbra Joan
