From Louisa May Alcott

"I'm not afraid of storms, for I am learning to sail my own ship."

I've always liked that quote, and now more than ever it has true meaning for me.
Just when you think you've reached that time in your life  where you've seen it all, heard it all and know it all, you haven't.
Someone can out think and out talk you.. It can turn your life totally upside down, inside out, and that's what happened to me a year and a half ago.

Today I'm stronger for it. Today I'm wiser, but never think it can't happen.
Thank you to all my friends, both near and far, for their encouragement and support.
It 's what carries you over those waves. As I said I'm sailing my own ship.
And to those who have hurt me, you matter not .I won't waste a minute of my energy on it.  I have much bigger, better to do in this life.
Who knows ? Maybe I'm just getting started.

love you all,
Barbra Joan

  2. Thanks Barbra for your visit to my blog. I love your quote about sailing your own ship. Sorry for any challenges you may be facing just now. As you say, life never stays the same. Storms are followed by calm. And then, another storm! Its how it goes. Glad to see you back and being the captain.
