I took this from inside my bedroom window. And no zoom, it's this close to the water.  This bird  was slightly turned, but they spread their wings to dry. 

It's a large water bird, sometimes called a  Snake Bird because of its long neck. If you were to get close enough you would see that the neck looks more like fur than feathers.  It swims along then dives under and catches small fish, comes up and that's his job all day long.. BJ
