Home and recuperating from my surgery.  Doing some art journaling in a small book .. W/C, ink,
and keeping sort of a small diary of the past few weeks.
Doesn't really matter what you put down  as long as you put something .. I've always admired Cathy Johnson for her artwork in Nature. She's also written a book on Art Journaling ... Artist's Journal Workshop.. Very inspiring .. !
and has been an excellent companion for my recovery.
 hugs, BJ

  1. Welcome back!!!! You have been missed.

  2. Hi BJ,

So happy your surgery is behind you and you can focus on healing and enjoying your art. Yes I am also a great fan of Cathy Johnson. She is so very inspiring.

    All the best to you

  3. Glad to see a post from you today, Barbra, and to read that the surgery is over and you're back home, recuperating and focusing your mind, body, spirit and soul - which includes your art journeys, of course - on healing and a return to good health.

    Welcome home!

  4. I love seeing what you are doing while recovering, my dearest BJ. That book sounds like it would be wonderful to me. I am awful at journaling, getting embarrassed at my own words when I go back to read again. Always stalls me in the water.

  5. Hello, Sweet Friend! I'm so glad you stopped by! Wishing you baskets of healing wishes as you recover :)
Loved hearing of your Wren friends... they have the most chipper songs! Now I will peek at your sweet blog~ Best wishes~

  6. BJ glad to see your journal - you inspire me to do something like that as well. It is true - important to do something creative every day. Welcome back!

  7. Hi Barbara Joan,,,thanks for coming by my blog as now I have found your blog. Lovely artwork you show here and I LOVE your pets:)...can Big Jake come live at my house???? I have always had orange cats,,,well other assorted colors too:) they find ME it seems. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Your comments are very much appreciated and I'll be returning the visit. !! BJ
