Sketch Book

This afternoon packed a small bag of art supplies , picked up a Chick-fil-A and headed to Lake Ella here in Tallahassee... weather was perfect... I mean as in 78 degrees and no humidity perfect.
The park has a big lake, gazebo and lots and lots of ducks, geese, mallards, swans.
 Wonderful big old trees everywhere.  So did some sketching, painting.  Not all of these were done today, in fact a couple may have been from last year.













So ... just a few sketches from my book, and this is where I do some at home.

    Do you go out on your own? I wish I could see better I would go out and do that too. I am afraid of causing an accident by driving on my own. I suppose I could pick the right time of day when traffic is not so bad but its not a guarantee. Also wonder about sitting out alone. Love the sketches.
