Alligator Point

Where else but Florida.
A nice drive to the coast on the Gulf  let's you see 'old Florida' .. the marshes, preserves of wild life, fishing, old restaurants and lots of seafood.
And yes, the sky is that blue.
Pelicans all resting on the roof of this dock.
Build on the water, hurricanes come and take them away, and the people come back and build again, and again.
And again.  The law is now you have to build up. And it's right on the Gulf.

and where the old rusted trucks go to rest in peace.
Hickory nuts growing in the wild.

  1. Dear BJ - loved seeing your part of the world. The rusted trucks made me smile too. We have hickory nuts that grow wild here as well. Hope you are having a delightful day in the beauty of Florida. Hugs!

Your comments are very much appreciated and I'll be returning the visit. !! BJ
