I would still plant my apple tree.
-Martin Luther King Jr.
I think of Life as a very long road. As I look back I can see that the one ahead is much shorter. That being so, this will be a more personal journal along with artistic endeavors past, present and future. And as that road shortens, I pray that I travel it gracefully. Most of this will be of interest only to me, but you are certainly welcome in my world.
I know!!, that is the best quote ever! Thanks for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteYes, Barbra, that is the best quote ever! The sales of sappling apple trees has plumetted in the last two decades. We no longer "put down roots"; there is no definition of "Home". It takes seven years to produce apples from that original nurtured tree and we have lost the time and carrying to do so. Too sad.
ReplyDeleteI love this quote too, and to me it says,
ReplyDeleteNever give up on hope, no matter what.
